Alcantarea imperialis

From the mountains overlooking Rio De Janiero the Imperial Bromeliad is a striking feature plant with its sculptural form. Suitable for in a pot or in the ground and requires little water so is an easy care plant. 

Suitable for growing in the sun or shade, you'll see stronger burgundy colours in the sun compared to more green in shade.
